fantastic access to beautiful parks and historical landmarks

During our stay, we found it incredibly easy to explore nearby Denbigh Castle just a short stroll away, and the peaceful gardens at Dr Evan Pierce Memorial Garden also offered a lovely spot to unwind after our walks. I was truly blown away by the beauty of the house and surroundings, making it the perfect location for weekend explorers like us.

The King Room, Stanley offers a luxurious atmosphere with exquisite furnishings that clearly reflect careful design and attention to detail. The peaceful gardens surrounding the place contribute to a relaxing ambiance, making it ideal for unwinding after a long day.

While the location exudes charm, some rooms may feel somewhat smaller than expected, which could be an adjustment for those used to more spacious accommodations. the somewhat elaborate decor might not appeal to minimalists seeking a more understated environment.

our stay at castle house b and b was just fab! the view from our room was to die for, seriously, we loved it. angie and charlie made us feel like old friends from the moment we got there. breakfast was so delish, i can't even describe it. also, the atmosphere was super chill, perfect for recharging after a hectic week.

however, the only downside was it wasn’t super clear how to find the entrance and one of the lights in our room was flickering a bit.

Staying here felt like home. The views from the Stanley room were breathtaking. Checking in was tricky, not clear on how to find the entrance. Perfect location for exploring the nearby golf course.

Stunning views and great host!

We had a fab time! Our room was lovely, with swoon-worthy views of the countryside. Angie really made our stay special, she was super accommodating when we had to adjust our plans. Breakfast was awesome, best full English we’ve had! Just wished it wasn’t such a hassle to find the place. Definitely a hidden gem!

Charming, Charming, Charming

Our King Room was nothing short of spectacular! The views of the rolling Clwydian hills were jaw-droppingly beautiful, especially during sunrise. Angie and Charlie's attention to detail made us feel like VIPs, from the delicious homemade breakfast featuring local ingredients to the luxurious en suite with a roll-top bath and splendid views.

i recently stayed for two nights in the king room dudley and it was a fantastic experience. angie and charlie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the views of the clwydian mountains from our room were breathtaking. the breakfast was delicious, featuring locally sourced ingredients and freshly baked pastries.

We had an amazing stay with friends. The house had a vintage charm, making it a lovely place to unwind. We explored the Offas Dyke Trail and hiked Moel Famau, enjoying the views. Our hosts were fantastic, providing a hearty breakfast, and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to relax!

One small drawback was the slightly limited parking space. It could be a challenge if you're traveling with multiple cars.

We had a lovely one-night stay in the King Room Stanley. The room was super comfy and had a breathtaking view of the Clwyd mountains. Angie was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was top-notch, especially the Welsh brekkie! Just wished the wifi would’ve been better, but it didn’t really bother us since we were busy exploring!
